The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite is getting the Android 12-based MIUI 13 upgrade in India. The February 2022 security patch will also likely be there in the next Android release. The MIUI 13 update is the second for the Mi 11 Lite and the first for Android 7.0. Since its release in March of last year, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite has been running on MIUI 12, based on Android 11. However, according to a source, the current version is only available to Mi Pilot Testers and will be out to the public later.
According to Xiaomi, the MIUI 13 update for the Mi 11 Lite has a version number of V13.0.1.0.SKQINXM and size of roughly 3GB. Users have already noted that the Chinese version of the MIUI 13 upgrade is missing most of the current update’s features, so there isn’t much to look forward to.
However, the latest update includes a new set of wallpapers and a few layout tweaks to the notification panel. According to the source, the update is only available to Mi Pilot Testers. Although, it is expected to be sent out to a broader audience after the flaws are fixed.
