Xiaomi Launches Redmi A2+ In New Storage Variant In India

Xiaomi has launched a new storage and RAM variant of the Xiaomi Redmi A2+ in India. It debuted in a single 4GB RAM and 64GB storage configuration. The company has added another variant with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage.

Xiaomi Redmi A2+ New Variant Pricing And Availability

This new variant doubles the storage in the phone while maintaining the same amount of RAM. The phone will be available in three colours: Aqua Blue, Classic Black and Sea Green. Xiaomi has confirmed that this new variant will go on sale for a price of Rs.8,499. It will be available for purchase via Amazon, Xiaomi website and offline retail stores.

Xiaomi Redmi A2+ Specifications

The phone was earlier available in a 4GB+64GB variant for the same price of Rs.8,499.This variant has now been discounted to Rs.7,999 on Amazon. The rest of the specifications are still the same with no changes being made. It features a 6.52-inch HD+ LCD panel with a 1600 x 720 pixels resolution. The screen offers 400 nits of brightness and a 120Hz touch sampling rate.

The phone packs a MediaTek Helios G36 processor based on a 12nm architecture and paired with 4GB of RAM. It runs on Android 13 Go Edition and has a fingerprint scanner on the back. For optics, the phone has an 8-megapixel rear camera paired with a 0.8-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, there is a 5-megapixel camera for taking selfies. You get Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0,3.5mm headphone jack, a micro USB port and a microSD card slot on the connectivity front.

The phone has a 5,000mAh battery with a 10W charger, which claims to provide 19 hours of video playback. It has a dedicated dual SIM tray that offers dual-4G standby support. Furthermore, the A2+ has a 2-year warranty and features a soft leather texture finish on the back.
