Xiaomi launched CIVIbranded smartphone in China on September 27, 2021. The Xiaomi CIVI is coming as a replacement for the CC series. It is also officially branding itself as primarily a camera-centric device. To be specific, the device is also marketing as a selfie beast during the launch. However, it looks like the smartphone is now limiting to certain markets. The company has now confirmed that the Civi will be exclusive to Mainland China only.
The Xiaomi CIVI comes with flagship mid-ranger grade specifications. Besides, the device is pricing pretty aggressively, going by its specifications. Especially its specifications also include the Snapdragon 778G 5G chipset, triple rear cameras, 32-megapixel Samsung selfie shooter, AMOLED display, and more.

According to Android Authority, the company confirmed that Xiaomi CIVI will not launch in global markets. Xiaomi also tells the publication that “the smartphone remains a Mainland China-only device”. However, this doesn’t rule out the possibility of a rebadged model arriving in global markets. It remains to be seen whether Xiaomi chooses that route.
Now, Xiaomi CIVI price in China starts at 2,599 Yuan for the 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage variant. Now, this converts to approximately Rs. 29,000 in the Indian currency. Further, the 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage variant is priced at 2,899 Yuan. This converts to roughly Rs. 33,000 in the Indian market. Lastly, there is a 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant which comes with a price tag of 3,199 Yuan. This basically converts to around Rs. 36,000 in the Indian currency for Xiaomi CIVI.
Xiaomi Civi Specifications
It sports a 6.55-inch AMOLED curved full-HD+ display. In addition, the display comes with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. Further, the display on the smartphone also comes with a fast 120Hz refresh rate. At the back, the smartphone sports AG glass and is based on a metallic frame.

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC. The octa-core 5G flagship chipset pairs up with 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. When it comes to software, the Xiaomi CIVI runs on Android 11 OS with the MIUI 12.5 custom skin on top.
Moving to optics, the Xiaomi CIVI features a triple rear camera setup. The setup includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor alongside a 120 FOV ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. At the front, here is where the smartphone shines with its 32-megapixel Samsung GD1 selfie shooter. Additional selfie features include autofocus, skin renewal tech, dual-soft LED flash and more.

On the battery front, the smartphone packs a 4,500mAh battery with 55W Rapid Charging support. The device also packs all the essential connectivity options. These include dual-SIM support, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.2, NFC. a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port for charging. Further, there is an in-display fingerprint sensor for security as well as Dolby Atmos support on the device.
