Yes, let us tell you that the Meta-owned instant messaging app WhatsApp is reportedly working on a similar feature. WhatsApp Upcoming feature will allow users to share their status updates to Facebook stories without leaving WhatsApp. The feature was spotted in the latest WhatsApp beta for iOS 23.7.0.75 update by WaBetaInfo.
According to WABetaInfo’s report, the new feature will make it easier to share status updates on both platforms. In such a situation, users will not have to share manually while posting something new. At present, users can do this with Instagram. In this, the status that is posted on Instagram can also be shared on Facebook.

WhatsApp Upcoming Feature: WhatsApp status direct on Facebook
Earlier, users could share status updates in Facebook Story but every time they posted something new, they had to follow a lot of steps to share it on WhatsApp as well. With this new feature, the process will be automated for some status updates selected by the users.
According to the report, the new option will be available in the status privacy setting on WhatsApp and users will be able to add their Facebook account. The new option will be the default on WhatsApp and users have to enable it themselves. Users will get benefit from the new feature, they can save time and effort. They will be able to manually share their status updates with Facebook Stories without leaving WhatsApp. This feature will be available for both Android and iOS users.

Through all these features, WhatsApp has to provide a better experience to its users. Meanwhile, WhatsApp is working on the ability to create channels on WhatsApp. The feature will be a tool “for broadcasting information, allowing users to easily receive useful updates from other people they want to get updates from.”
