Whatsapp To Get Its New Feature Call Links

Whatsapp is all set to begin its new feature. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has announced through a Facebook post that they are working on the new ‘Call Links’ feature. This new feature is set to get introduced in the texting app Whatsapp. WhatsApp call link will allow users to join audio/video calls. But what is exceptional is that now just a tap on the link will let you join any call.

Though this feature is not new as Zoom, Facetime, and Google Meet have already had this feature. But it’s new for Whatsapp. There is also an update in the number of users in a call.

Amazingly, the number of users from a maximum of eight has jumped to 32 users. The feature will start working by this week. After this feature launches, users will be able to create WhatsApp call link seamlessly. This option will be available in the calls tab, through which users can share links. The WhatsApp call link will be available for both audio and video.

The link will be shareable and easily shareable on any platform. After which, the users just need to tap on the link, and they will be able to join the call. Though the 32 users at a time in a call didn’t make it to the timeline. But he mentioned that they are working on that too.

The FAQ page of Whatsapp has already stated that it can equip 32 users at a time in the call. That is similar to Apple’s Facetime feature. It also suggests that if a group has more than 32 users, the creator of the call must pick and choose the user.

Recently, Whatsapp testing many new features, including searching for messages by date, hiding online status, and editing a text after it is sent.
