It seems like WhatsApp will never stop bringing new features to its application. Following the controversial changes in the privacy policy the app made earlier this year, the new features will probably help them retain their existing user base.
According to various rumours, there are five features the developers are currently working on. That being said, let us take a look at what these new features will be.

WhatsApp Read Later
The most requested and awaited feature the app will bring over in a couple of months is the Read Later function. According to sources, the Read Later feature will be an improvised version of the existing Archive Chat option.
If a user moves a particular chat to Read Later, they won’t be notified of any new message or call from the contact. You can also customize certain aspects of the feature using an edit button. No details on how the edit button will work are known for now.
WhatsApp Multi-Device Support
If you are someone who wants to use the same number on multiple devices, you are not alone. The app currently allows users to use one number on only one device at a time. Multi-device support is something people from all over the world have been asking for quite a long time.
While no information is available about the feature right now, rumours suggest that it will come to WhatsApp sometime later this year.

WhatsApp Logout function
According to a report from WABetaInfo, the Beta version of WhatsApp is testing the feature as of now. The WhatsApp Beta 2.21.30.16 enables users to log in from WhatsApp Web PC without having to scan any QR code.
WhatsApp Web Group Calls
Currently available in the mobile version, the Group call feature will soon be released for WhatsApp Web. The company has not said anything on when the feature will come but reports indicate that it will be sometime soon.
