WhatsApp is working on a new favourite chats filter that will show users unread messages from the chats they frequently text. This will allow them to identify important unread messages from the long list of chats on their device.

This update is reportedly being developed and made available to testers who signed up for the Google Play Beta Programme. Once it launches in beta, the user will be able to view and use the feature.

How It Works

The favourite chats will be arranged and added to favourites using this new feature of WhatsApp beta for Android 2.24.12.7. Moreover, Users will benefit from this filter as it will make it easier to distinguish between frequent contacts and other contacts
