A new feature is being developed by WhatsApp. This will make managing groups simpler. The group admins of the instant messaging app will soon be able to control who may join the group. It will be possible due to this new feature. Moreover, the functionality is currently accessible in WhatsApp Beta for Android v2.22.18.10. This is originally reported by WABetaInfo. Furthermore, this week, Meta also introduced three additional privacy options for WhatsApp. This includes the ability to hide your online status, secretly leave groups, and restrict screenshots for certain discussions.

WhatsApp is Working on A New Feature to Manage Group Members
According to WABetaInfo, the messaging platform Whatsapp is developing a new feature. This will let group admins manage who may join the group. When it becomes available, the “Approve new members” option in WhatsApp group settings may provide group admins the ability to accept or deny requests from users who all want to join a certain group.

Whatsapp is also developing a new feature that will stop group members who are not admins from adding new members. Just like it does when another Group option is changed, WhatsApp will notify all group members when the feature to choose who can add others to the group is enabled. The requests for a group that is still pending will probably be collected in a separate section. Under Group Info at the bottom of the group options menu, you may choose to approve new members.
According to reports, the Android v2.22.18.9 beta of the Google Play Beta program has a new capability. When these additional components will be included in the stable version is not yet known, though.
