According to reports, the messaging app WhatsApp is testing two new features for Android. The first WhatsApp beta feature is Link to Tablet, while the other is the Google-owned operating system’s DND API for missed calls.
Furthermore, users may use the same instant messaging account on several smartphones and tablets by adding a secondary device as a companion to their primary phone with WhatsApp, thanks to the companion mode.

While the DND API will notify the user that the Do Not Disturb mode has disabled their missed call notification.
The feature tracker initially discovered this feature earlier this year. It enables numerous users to access the same account from various Android devices. Users will not have to log out of one phone to access WhatsApp on another. Furthermore, switching to WhatsApp’s Companion Mode will wipe locally saved messages and data, according to the research.

WhatsApp Beta Update Coming Soon
WhatsApp is widely accessible among all platforms. However, this new feature will enable users to link their accounts from an Android phone to an Android tablet. This will function in the same way we presently link a desktop or WhatsApp Web, but on Android tablets, it will be for the WhatsApp app, which should be more smooth and more efficient than the web version.
However, the company has also included a new Do Not Disturb option for phone calls. When your phone is in DND mode, WhatsApp automatically mutes all incoming WhatsApp calls. If you get a call while using the DND function, the app will display the label “Silenced by Do Not Disturb.” However, because you have the do not disturb option active on your phone, the caller will not know you miss any call.
