According to Downdetector, several users began experiencing problems with the WhatsApp mobile app and online at about 12:30 PM today, October 25. At the time of writing, over 2,000 users had reported issues with the app on the website. According to Downdetector, 69 per cent of users are experiencing trouble sending messages, while 21 per cent are experiencing server connection issues. Approximately 9 per cent of users are experiencing other unexpected problems with the smartphone app.

Twitter users have also expressed their concerns. Meanwhile, the hashtag #WhatsAppDown is trending on the social media network. WhatsApp has yet to address the issue formally, and the actual reason for the problem is unknown. Other Meta-owned services, like Instagram and Facebook, generally function in India.
Starting next week, iPhone users will require iOS 12 or higher to use WhatsApp. This means that users of the iPhone 4 and 4S will no longer be able to use WhatsApp. As a result, we advise those consumers to consider upgrading to a new phone immediately. If you have an iPhone 5, you may update to iOS 12 and start using WhatsApp with new features.
