Vivo Y72 5G Launched: Price, Specifications

Vivo Y72 5G launched in Thailand, adding to the company’s Y-series lineup. It comes as the company’s latest mid-range 5G offering. Moreover, the key specs of the device include 5G connectivity and a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging support. In addition, it also comes with 16MP selfie snapper, and Android 11 OS out of the box.

Its’ pricing is at THB 9,999 (roughly Rs 23,300) for the lone 8GB + 128GB storage variant. The handset will be available for pre-booking from March 23 to March 30. Moreover, Vivo Y72 5G will go on sale on March 31. It is offered in two color options — Graphite Black and Dream Glow.

It sports a 6.58-inch FHD+ LCD display with a waterdrop notch to accommodate the selfie snapper. In addition, it comes with a 20:9 aspect ratio, 90.6 percent screen-to-body ratio, and 2408 × 1080 pixels resolution.

Vivo Y72 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC pairing with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The phone runs on Android 11-based Funtouch OS 11.1 out of the box.

Furthermore, Vivo Y72 5G also packs a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support. Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and USB Type-C port for charging and data sync.

In terms of optics, Vivo Y72 has a triple camera setup at the back with a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP wide-angle lens with a 120-degree field of view, and a 2MP macro lens. It supports features like Portrait, Night, Panorama, Live Photo, Slow-Mo, Time-Lapse, Pro, AR Stickers, DOC, Fun Video, and Jovi Vision There is a 16MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security and measures 163.95 × 75.30 × 8.50 mm and weighs 193 grams.
