Vivo is gearing up to launch their Vivo Y72 5G handset in India on July 15. The smartphone will be launching as the latest addition to the Vivo Y-series of smartphones in the country. The smartphone had appeared on another leak previously which revealed the details via an official poster.
Now, the smartphone in in the leaks yet again and the full list of specifications of the smartphone has been tipped. 91Mobiles, in an exclusive leak, tipped the key specifications of the device in collaboration with noted tipster Yogesh.
From the looks of it, the smartphone is most likely a rebrand of the Y52 T1 model which was launched in China. Going by that, the smartphone will actually be quite different from the Vivo Y72 that was launched in Thailand recently.
Vivo Y72 5G Specifications
Going by the recent leak, the Vivo Y72 will come with a big 6.58-inch full-HD+ Halo FullView display. Additionally, the display will come with a resolution of 2408 × 1080 pixels. Moreover, we will also see a 90Hz fast refresh rate on the display panel.

On the processor front, the smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 SoC. On the other hand, the original Y72 model comes with the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. Additionally, the octa-core chipset will be paired with 8GB of RAM alongside 128GB of internal storage. Besides, we will also see an extended virtual RAM of 4GB on the device. On the software front, the smartphone will run on Android 11 with the Funtouch OS custom skin on top.
For photos and videos, the Vivo Y72 5G will feature a dual rear camera setup. The setup includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor alongside a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. Additionally, the smartphone comes with a variety of features like Face Beauty, Pose Master and Super Night Mode. At the front, the smartphone will come with an 8-megapixel selfie shooter.

When it comes to the battery, the handset will pack a big 5000mAh battery. Additionally, the battery will also come with 18W fast charging support. The smartphone will also pack all the essential connectivity options. These include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and USB Type-C port for charging and data sync. Lastly, the handset comes with dimensions of 164.2 x 75.4 x 8.4 mm and weighs 185 grams.
Expected Price In India And Availability
The Vivo Y72 5G price in India is most likely going to be set at roughly Rs. 22,990. Moreover, this will be the price for the lone 8GB RAM variant. When it comes to offers, the smartphone will launch with HDFC Bank offers like a flat Rs. 1,500 cashback.

Additionally, we will also see ICICI Bank and Kotak offering similar discounts. On purchasing the phone, buyers will also be eligible to get a one-time screen replacement and Jio offers worth Rs. 10,000.
