Vivo is reportedly ready to launch its Vivo X70 series in India on September 30, 2021. Moreover, an event microsite is now live on Vivo’s official website that revealed the India launch date. However, to recall, this series already launched in China on September 9, 2021. It comprises three models — Vivo X70, Vivo X70 Pro, and Vivo X70 Pro+. The teaser or microsite does not really reveal many details of the smartphone series except that it will feature Zeiss optics, a gimbal camera, and some images.
According to the company, the Vivo X70 series is launching on September 30, 2021, at 12 pm IST. The microsite on Vivo’s website shows a timer as well. The microsite also mentions that the upcoming smartphone series will get Zeiss optics with Zeiss T coating. Moreover, the microsite reveals some other information about the series.
According to a recent report by MoneyControl, only the X70 Pro and X70 Pro Plus models will be launching in India. So, we will basically not be seeing the vanilla model in the series make its way to the Indian market. However, there is no confirmation on the same officially as of yet. The company has launched the series in China now. This reveals the pricing and specifications of the Vivo X70 series ahead of its global launch event. Vivo X70 Series Specifications
The vanilla variant sports a 6.56-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10 support. Under the hood, it is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. It also comes paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. The phone features a triple rear camera setup including a 40-megapixel primary sensor and a 32-megapixel selfie camera. It gets a 4,000mAh battery with 44W Flash Charge fast charging support.

Although, the Vivo X70 Pro‘s specifications are similar to the vanilla Vivo X70. The difference lies in the processor, camera setup, and battery. The Pro variant powers on an Exynos 1080 SoC. It comes with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of onboard storage. The phone gets a quad rear camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel periscope lens. Vivo has packed a 4,500mAh battery with 44W Flash Charge fast charging support.

Whereas, the premium Vivo X70 Pro+ shares many specifications with the rest of the lineup. In terms of display, it sports a 6.78-inch Ultra-HD AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it powers on a Snapdragon 888+ SoC. It comes with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of onboard storage. The Pro also gets a quad rear camera setup similar to the Vivo X70 Pro. Although, it gets a 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. Vivo has packed a 5,000mAh battery with 55W Flash charge fast charging support.
Connectivity options on the Vivo X70 series include dual-band Wi-Fi with 2.4GHz and 5.1GHz bands, 5G, Bluetooth v5.2, Beidou, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, NFC, USB Type-C, and USB OTG.
