Vivo V21 5G, Vivo V21, and Vivo V21e launched under the company’s V21 series on Tuesday, April 27. Moreover, the first two share the specs but one lacks 5G support. On the other hand, Vivo V21e comes with some distinctions over the other two phones in the series. The former two devices power on a MediaTek Dimensity 800U SoC. In contrast, the Vivo V21e has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC.

Vivo V21 5G packs three rear camera modules, including a 64MP OIS primary camera sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro camera. Moreover, a waterdrop-style notch houses the smartphone’s 44MP selfie camera, which also happens to ship with OIS (optical image stabilization.
Its 4,000mAh battery supports fast charging at 33W. Given that 4,500mAh units are the norm today, the Vivo V21’s battery seems a little lackluster.

Vivo V21e Specifications
This device is a 4G version of the Vivo V21 5G with a different chipset. Both devices have nearly identical specifications otherwise, including the 6.4-inch 90Hz HDR10 (not 10+) AMOLED screen, 430 nits brightness (as opposed to 500), 4,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging, and even memory/storage configurations. The 64MP triple rear camera setup is the same, too. However, the 44MP selfie camera on the Vivo V21e doesn’t have OIS, which shouldn’t be much of a problem for most real-world use cases, but would be nice to have nonetheless. The Vivo V21e runs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chipset, bereft of 5G connectivity. Lastly, both the Vivo V21e and Vivo V21 5G ship with an under-display fingerprint sensor.
