Vivo Presents Its Super Foldable Phone , Vivo X Fold+

Vivo X Fold+ launched in China on Monday. The new phone is the most powerful foldable phone present. It features Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, which is an advance from the previous Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. The latter features in the Advance Vivo X Fold, which launched earlier this year.

Vivo X Fold+ Specifications And Features

The new foldable offers an 8.03-inch AMOLED inner display and a 6.53-inch AMOLED cover display screen. It has a 4,730mAh battery, wired battery support of 80W, and wireless fast charging support of 50W.

It comes in two storage combinations – 12GB RAM +256 storage for CYN 9,999 (roughly Rs. 1,15,000) and 12GB RAM +512storage for CYN 10,999 (roughly Rs.1,25,000).

The phone comes in black, blue, and red colour options. It comes with a 12Hz refresh rate and a 2K +(1,916×2,160) pixel resolution. It also has a game mode that boosts the display up to 140Hz and 240Hz.

Vivo X Fold+ offers a quad rear camera, developed in collaboration with Zeiss. It offers a 50megapixel main camera along with a 48megapixel ultra-wide sensor. Besides, it also has a 12-megapixel portrait shooter and an 8megapixel periscope camera. That also has a 5X optical Zoom.

The selfie phone has 16 megapixels and an f/2.45 aperture on the front. Along with this, it also boasts a front-facing camera on the outer display.

The phone size is about 14.91mm thin when folded and 7.40mm when unfolded. The new phone weighs about 311g. It runs on Android 12-based OriginOS Ocean.

It offers facial recognition and has an under-display fingerprint sensor for security purposes. The phone supports a 5G connection and comes with 2.4GHz and 5GHz dual-band wifi. Also, it offers Bluetooth v5.2 and NFC support.

Vivo X Fold+ offers more advanced battery life than X Fold which launched earlier this year. But it has retained the design concept of the latter for keeping order and balance.

According to the reports, the new foldable phone will go on sale on Thursday in China at 10 am CST / 7:30 am IST.
