Vivo is also joining the bandwagon for the foldable phone craze now. In a recent development, Vivo has filed a trademark for a rollable, slideable, and foldable device. According to the trademark, it is trademarking the names “NEX Fold”, “Nex Slide”, and “NEX Roll” for its devices. Moreover, the rumors of a foldable smartphone from the brand launching this year are also surfacing. Although there are no confimrations on the same as of now.

On May 24, Vivo has trademarked not one but three NEX devices. Their names are pretty self-explanatory. However, the new bit is that the new form factor handsets will exist under the NEX branding. Considering its history of launching experimental devices under this series – it is not surprising.

Unfortunately, related to leaked features, specifications, and the launch of the line of phones are still a mystery. However, there have been a few leaks revealing that the latest Vivo lineup will launch in the second half of this year. We will have to wait as more news pop up for the NEX lineup of this devices.

Meanwhile, the brand has launched Vivo Y73 earlier this month whereas the Vivo V21e 5G just a few days ago. The latter smartphone is a toned-down variant of the Vivo V21 5G that launched in India in April 2021. Moreover, it focuses on selfies with the 32-MP front camera. It supports Super Night Selfie and AI Extreme modes for rich low-light images. It aims to bring 5G connectivity to affordable smartphones.
