Bala Yogesh, a freelance journalist, adds that Vodafone Idea (Vi) has dropped the Rs. 799 family postpaid plan from its plans. The cheapest family plan starts at Rs. 699 and includes two connections. According to reports, Vodafone Idea has increased the pricing of Rs. 199 add-on plans for new users to Rs. 249 instead. These measures are most likely being made to boost average revenue per user (ARPU), which is also being done in the prepaid category.
