Whatsapp is testing a new feature that will soon allow users to use two accounts on one phone. Currently, the feature is available only for WhatsApp beta users but will soon roll out for everyone, according to an announcement by Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
WhatsApp Multiple Accounts Feature To Arrive Soon
According to a post by Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg on Facebook, you will soon be able to use two WhatsApp accounts on the same phone. This means that you no longer need to carry two phones for separate WhatsApp accounts.

However, you will need a phone that supports dual-SIM or an additional e-SIM to utilize this feature. With this feature, you don’t need to log out from your primary account to use the other phone. Like Instagram, you can use both accounts simultaneously, each with its own privacy and notification settings. This means you can control your work and home accounts more granularly.

To use this feature, head over to Settings and tap the arrow next to your name. Here, you will find an option called “Add Account”. Follow the instructions and enjoy two accounts on the same phone. With this feature, WhatsApp is also reminding users that it is better to use the official app to get more accounts on their devices instead of relying on fake or modded versions.
The company also released an update earlier this year that allows users to use a single account on multiple devices simultaneously. You can link your account on up to 4 devices at once. This feature is helpful if you want to use the same WhatsApp on various phones.
