Vi has launched two new prepaid mobile recharge plans with month-long validity. Priced at Rs.327 and Rs.337, these Vi recharge plan come with 30 and 31 days validity respectively. Recent announcement by TRAI made it mandatory for telecom regulators to have recharge plans with at least 30 days validity. Further, they should be renewable on same date every month. The telecom regulator has not made any announcement regarding the renewal plans for the Rs.327 and Rs.337 prepaid plans. However, we can expect them to be competing with Airtel and Jio’s Rs.296 prepaid plans.

Vi Rs 327 Plan: Benefits and Validity
The Vi Rs.327 plan comes with a 30 days validity. The plan offers 25GB of 4G high-speed data and unlimited voice calls. Users can send upto 100 free SMSes per day throughout the recharge period. After exhausting the 100 SMS limit, they will be charged the standard SMS rates for local and STD. The pack also comes with a complimentary subscription to Vi Movies and TV app.

Vi Rs 337 Plan: Benefits and Validity
The Vi Rs.337 plan comes with a 31 days validity. The plan offers 28GB of 4G high-speed data and unlimited voice calls. Users can send upto 100 free SMSes per day throughout the recharge period. Post daily limit, they will be charged the standard SMS rates for local and STD. This pack also comes with a complimentary subscription to Vi Movies and TV app.

Vi Rs 327 vs Airtel Rs 296 vs Rs Jio Rs 296 Plan: A Comparison
Currently, neither Airtel, nor Jio offers any prepaid plans with a 31 day validity. They both have plans priced at Rs.296 with 30 days validity. The voice call, data and SMS offerings are the same as that of Vi’s Rs.327 plan. In addition, Jio offers complimentary subscription to Jio apps with Jio Rs 296 plan. Airtel, on the other hand, offers complimentary Wynk Music subscription, Amazon Prime Video Mobile edition trial pack access snf Rs 100 cashback on FASTag among others.
