Sony has launched the Xperia 1 IV flagship smartphone, which includes a new telephoto lens with genuine optical zoom capability. The Sony Xperia 1 IV will retail for $1,599 in the United States (roughly Rs. 1,23,500). Pre-orders will commence at 11:00 a.m. EDT / 8:30 p.m. IST today, with deliveries expected in September. Moreover, it will be available for purchase in the United States through authorised dealers and Sony’s official website. It will also be accessible in a few South-East Asian nations starting in Q3 2022. This smartphone will be available in three colours: black, purple, and white.

Sony’s flagship smartphone features a 6.5-inch 4K HDR OLED display with no notch and no bezels. The display features a refresh rate of 120Hz and a 21:9 aspect ratio. Furthermore, it has a 240Hz touch sampling rate and 240Hz motion blur reduction technology for gaming. Gamers may use the RT record feature to broadcast 30-second gaming snippets on social media. They may also conduct a live stream on YouTube using the Game Enhancer tool. It comes with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, 12GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage. This phone runs an essentially vanilla version of Android 12.
Sony chose a triple rear camera arrangement with three 12-megapixel Exmor RS picture sensors, including a 16mm ultra-wide lens, a 24mm wide lens, and a new 85-125mm telephoto lens with continuous optical zoom. Moreover, this system can capture 4K movies at 120 frames per second and up to 5x slow motion. The Xperia 1 IV features a 12-megapixel Exmor RS picture sensor on the front.

The Sony Xperia 10 IV with 6GB RAM and 128GB inbuilt storage will cost $499 (approximately Rs. 38,500). Therefore, it will go on sale in a few South-East Asian nations in Q3 2022. This smartphone will be available in Black, Lavender, Mint, and White.

The 6-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,520 pixels) OLED display on this Sony Xperia 10 IV has a 60Hz refresh rate. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protects the display. Furthermore, the phone is powered by a Snapdragon 695 processor and runs Android 12.
It sports a triple-camera arrangement on the back, including a 12-megapixel main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. Two 8-megapixel secondary sensors with an f/2.2 aperture are also included. Moreover, on the front, the Xperia 10 IV has an 8-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture.
