Vivo has launched an entry-level device under their Y series of smartphones. This smartphone comes with the Vivo Y15s moniker and has been launched in Singapore silently. From the looks of it, the device has gone official as primarily an upgraded version of the Vivo Y15 which went official way back in 2019.
Although the launch of the device has been pretty covert for the most part, the price and specs of the device are known. Without any further ado, here is a quick rundown of all the details.

Vivo Y15s Price and Availability
The Vivo Y15s price in Singapore has been set at $179. Now, this converts to roughly Rs. 13,230 in the Indian currency. For now, the device seems to be limited to Singapore. The India availability of the device is currently under wraps.

Starting off with the display, the smartphone features a 6.51-inch HD+ IPS LCD display. In addition, the display comes with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a standard 60Hz refresh rate. We also get to see a water-drop notch design at the front.

Under the hood, the Vivo Y15s is powered by the MediaTek Helio P35 SoC. The octa-core chipset pairs up with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Further, there is also a microSD card slot for expansion.
For photos and videos, the device comes with a dual rear camera setup. The setup includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. At the front, the device sports an 8-megapixel selfie shooter. When it comes to software, the Vivo Y15s runs on Android 11 Go Edition with the Funtouch OS 11.1 custom skin on top.
On the battery front, the entry-level device packs a big 5000mAh battery. This battery capacity is coupled with 10W fast charging support. In terms of connectivity, we get 4G LTE dual-SIM card slot, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0 and a microUSB 2.0 port. So, no USB Type-C port.

The device however retains a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Vivo Y15s measures 163.96×75.2×8.28mm and weighs 179 grams. We also get a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security purposes.
