OnePlus 9RT or RT remains a part of the rumour mill as it has maintained its place in the market for its anticipated launch. Although previous rumours suggested it might launch sometime in December 2021. It looks like it might not be the case. Now, tipster Yogesh Brar has learned a very interesting piece of news relating to the OnePlus phone.
Although OnePlus hasn’t announced anything about the OnePlus RT (OnePlus 9RT) India launch. Let’s take a look the new information relating to the device.
According to tipster Yogesh Brar, OnePlus may discontinue the OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9R, and OnePlus 8T soon after the OnePlus 9RT’s Indian arrival. Moreover, the company seems to be already gearing up for it. He also hinted that this could be the primary reason behind the discounts on some of the existing OnePlus models. This could also simply mean the brand wants to clear as much stock of the existing lineup before the launch.

OnePlus 9RT Specifications, Pricing
The OnePlus 9RT has a 6.62-inch FHD+ E4 fluid AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a pixel density of 397PPI. The device’s display panel refreshes 120 times per second and may reach brightness levels of 1300nits in certain scenarios. The panel is HDR10+ certified and has Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC with an octa-core processor and a 5nm production technology. On the other hand, the handset’s graphics are handled by an integrated Adreno 660 GPU. It comes with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS3.1 storage.

The phone has a triple-rear camera layout with a 50MP sensor and an LED flash. A 16MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro lens joins the handset’s primary high-resolution Sony IMX766 sensor. The handset has a 16MP Sony IMX471 sensor with EIS for selfies and video calls.
The 8GB RAM and 128GB storage OnePlus 9RT costs RMB 3,299, RMB 2499 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, and RMB 3799 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. In India, we may expect OnePlus to price the OnePlus RT between Rs. 40,000 and Rs. 45,000.
