Tecno Pop 7 Pro recently debuted earlier this month in the African markets and now the handset has officially launched in India as well. This new entry-level smartphone comes with a 6.6-inch HD+ IPS display and a quad-core chipset. The handset comes as a successor to the Tecno Pop 6 Pro which debuted back in September in the country. Compared to its predecessor the newly launched smartphone brings an upgraded camera system and double the internal storage.

Price And Availability In India
The handset is available in two storage and RAM configurations. For the base 4GB RAM +64GB storage configuration, the smartphone costs Rs. 6,799. In contrast, the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage configuration costs Rs. 7,299. Moreover, the smartphone is available in two colour options – Endless Balck and Uyuni Blue. It will be available for purchase starting February 22 exclusively via Amazon.
Tecno Pop 7 Pro: Specifications
The handset features a 6.56-inch HD Plus Dot Notch IPS display (1612×720) with a touch sampling rate of 120Hz and an aspect ratio of 20:9. Moreover, it comes with a quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 chipset along with up to 3GB RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. The device runs Android 12-based HiOS 11.0 and offers two storage and RAM configurations.
In terms of optics, the smartphone features a 12-megapixel sensor and an AI camera with a dual flashlight in the back. Additionally, it also includes a 5-megapixel selfie camera with a dual micro slit flashlight. Furthermore, the handset packs a Li-Polymer ion 5000mAh battery with an in-the-box 10W Type C adaptor. It supports WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. Lastly, the handset features an accelerometer, ambient light, proximity and e-compass sensors.
