World’s First Left- Right Foldable Smartphone Tecno Phantom V Fold Launched, Know More

In the last few years, smartphone companies like Samsung, Motorola, and Huawei are continuously launching foldable smartphones. Tecno has also launched its first foldable smartphone at the ongoing Tech Show Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023 in Barcelona. The phone, showcased at the company’s booth, is said to be the first left-right foldable smartphone in the world. The company revealed that the chipset has an AnTuTu test score of more than 1.08 million. During the event, Tecno also introduced its newest Chameleon Coloring Technology.

Tecno Phantom V Fold: Specifications

Talking about the specifications of Tecno Phantom V Fold, Dimensity 9000+ chipset is present in this phone. Like other folds, there are two displays in this smartphone, one of which is on the rear panel and the other is on the front side.

The display on the other is similar to that of a tablet. So far, information about the size of the display has not been given. However, no information is clear about when it will be available for sale in India. The smartphone will support dual-sim.

The device consists of a dual 5G processor which is specially customized for the device. This chipset is based on the advanced TSMC 4nm manufacturing process and offers great performance in a foldable device with low battery consumption.

Camera:

The smartphone comes with an ultra-clear 5-lens photography system. The smartphone sports a triple camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary rear camera with a super light-sensitive custom sensor and dual rear lenses. There are two front cameras present in the phone.

Regarding the system given in the handset, a claim has come that the folding design of the phone will give the best photography experience.

Tecno has also introduced the Chameleon Coloring Technology at MWC 2023, which is a full-spectrum electrically-controlled prism colouration technology. It uses a grid of sub-micron prism substance, that switches direction when an electrical field is present.

At present, Techno has not shared any other information about its foldable phone. The company could provide more information about its foldable device in the coming days.
