The Tecno Phantom V Fold was launched earlier this month in Barcelona at the Mobile World Congress 2023 event. The business has recently announced that the manufacture of the V Fold smartphone has begun in India as part of the ‘Made in India’ campaign. The gadget will be made at Tecno’s Noida factory, which presently manufactures 24 million phones yearly. It is India’s first foldable smartphone, powered by MediaTek’s top Dimensity 9000+ Processor.
The smartphone comes in Black and White colour choices and two storage variants: 12GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 512GB storage. The phone will be available in India on April 11, with an early bird sale beginning on April 12. The business announced that the phone would be made available exclusively on the Amazon website for an early bird access price of Rs. 77,777, valid only until limited stock lasts.

Tecno Phantom V Fold Specifications
When closed, the Phantom V Fold has a 6.42-inch LTPO AMOLED cover display with a 1080 x 2550 pixels resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. It boasts a more prominent 7.85-inch primary display with a resolution of 2000 x 2296 pixels when opened. The screen is bigger than the one included with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4.
The smartphone will have the same premium 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ Processor that powers the Oppo Find N2 Flip. The device has LPDDR5X Memory and UFS 3.1 storage.
The Phantom V Fold’s ultra-clean 5-camera system has three cameras on the back: a 50-megapixel primary sensor, another 50-megapixel 2x zoom lens, and a 13-megapixel ultrawide lens. The foldable device’s two selfie cameras include a 32-megapixel lens on the front panel and a 16-megapixel lens inside.
