Transsion Holdings brings yet another device in its portfolio to expands its presence outside of China. Tecno Camon 18i is now available in Nigeria. Although brand is trying to expand its presence to global markets. But it has always had a strong brand in Africa. Meanwhile, this new smartphone gets a quiet launch a few times after the debut of its siblings Camon 18 and Camon 18P.
The Tecno Camon 18i comes with a price of N84,500, or $189 for the single variant with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of Internal Storage. The device is available in various colors. However, the company didn’t specify the name of these colors. It’s available across authorized Tecno stores in the country.

In terms of pricing, the Tecno Camon 18i comes with a price of N84,500, or approx. ( Rs. 15,290.45) or $189 for the single variant with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. The device is available in various colors. It’s available across authorized Tecno stores in the country. The phone is already available for purchase in multiple colour options, namely Deep Sea, Frost Silver, and Tranquil Green. Tecno Camon 18i is also yet to be confirmed whether the new phone will be launched in global markets.
Tecno Camon 18i Specifications
Camon 18i seems like a rebadged Camon 17. Surprisingly, it also carries the very same model number as the Camon 17. It sports a 6.6-inch display with a 1600 x 720-pixel resolution. In addition, it also has a 90Hz refresh rate, according to the DroidAfrica report.

The phone features a triple camera system at the rear housing a 48-megapixel primary sensor, along with a QVGA secondary sensor and an AI camera. For selfies and video chats, the Tecno Camon 18i will have a 16-megapixel selfie camera sensor at the front, with an f/2.0 lens.
In terms of storage, it comes with up to 128GB of internal storage that supports expansion through a microSD card (up to 256GB). Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Furthermore, it packs a 5,000mAh battery on the Tecno Camon 18i, along with 18W charging support. Sensors on board are said to include an accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, and a proximity sensor. The phone also carries a fingerprint sensor at the back.
