Tecno Camon 18 Premier with Helio G96 Launched: Price, Specs

Tecno has launched another device under their Camon series of smartphones. The Tecno Camon 18 Premier has now gone official in Nigeria. Moreover, the smartphone adds to the Camon 18 series of devices. The series includes two other devices. These are the Tecno Camon 18 and Tecno Camon 18P. These two devices in the series are expected to go official in the coming days as well.

Key specs of the device are known as well. The smartphone comes with the Helio G96 chipset. In addition, it features a triple rear camera setup alongside Gimbal Stabilisation support as well. We can also see a 120Hz fast refresh rate display alongside a bunch of other features. However, the price of the smartphone is currently under wraps. Tecno Camon 18 Premier Specifications

Starting off the the Tecno Camon 18 Premier specs, it comes with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display. In addition, the display comes with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. We can also see a fast 120Hz refresh rate on the display alongside a peak brightness of 550 nits.

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G96 SoC. The octa-core chipset pairs up with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. When it comes to processor, the Tecno Camon 18 Premier runs on Android 11 OS with the HiOS 8.0 custom skin on top.

For photos and videos, the smartphone comes with a triple rear camera setup. The setup includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor alongside a 12-megapixel secondary sensor with gimbal stabilisation. Additionally, there is also an 8-megapixel periscope sensor with 60x Hyper Zoom. At the front, the smartphone comes with a 32-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls. On the battery front, the smartphone packs a 4,750mAh battery. In addition, this battery capacity on the device pairs up with 33W fast charging support. According to the company, the device charges up to 64 percent in just 30 minutes of charging.

There is also a USB Type-C port for charging alongside a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. When it comes to dimensions, the device measures 8.15mm in thickness. It also comes with AGC glass on its back panel.
