Tecno took to their official Twitter handle to reveal that the Camon 17 series will be launched in India on July 15. The company has been prepping the launch of their Camon 17 series in India for quite some time now. Moreover, the devices got listed on Amazon a couple of days ago which revealed the Amazon availability of the upcoming Camon 17 series smartphones.
The Camon 17 series of smartphones have already been launched in the South African markets. Now, the Tecno Camon 17 series of smartphones will finally make their way to India. The Camon 17 series actually consists of three smartphones under it. These are the Camon 17P, 17 and the 17 Pro but just the last two will make their way to the Indian market. Since the smartphones have already been launched, we know of its specifications. So, here is a quick rundown of the Tecno Camon 17 series specifications.

Tecno Camon 17
The Tecno Camon 17 is a slightly toned down version of the Camon 17 Pro. The smartphones features a large 6.5-inch HD+ LCD display. Additionally, the display comes with a fast refresh rate of 90Hz alongside a punch-hole display design at the front.
On the processor front, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC. Additionally, the octa-core chipset is paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. On the software front, the Tecno Camon 17 will run on Android 11 with the HiOS custom skin on top.

When it comes to the cameras, the Camon 17 features a triple rear camera setup. The setup includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor alongside a 16-megapixel secondary sensor. Additionally, there is also a third 2-megapixel sensor in the setup. At the front, the smartphone comes with a 16-megapixel selfie shooter. The Tecno Camon 17 packs a large 5000mAh battery along with 18W fast charging support. We can also see a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor on the device.
Camon 17 Pro Specifications
The more premium Camon 17 Pro features a 6.8-inch full-HD+ LED display. Additionally, here we can see a 90Hz fast refresh rate as well alongside a peak brightness of 500 nits. Moreover, the Pro variant comes with a rear punch-hole design as well.
On the processor front, the smartphone is powered by the more powerful MediaTek Helio G95 SoC. The octa-core chipset is paired with the Mali-G76 GPU. Additionally, the processor comes with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Also, the device runs on Android 11 with the HiOS custom skin on top like the vanilla variant.

For photos and videos, the Tecno Camon 17 Pro features a quad rear camera setup. The setup includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor alongside an 8-megpaixel ultra-wide-angle sensor. Additionally, we can also see two 2-megapixel sensors in the setup. These sensors are for macro and depth shots, respectively. At the front, the smartphone comes with a 48-megapixel selfie shooter. Lastly, the handset packs a similar 5000mAh battery along with 25W fast charging support.
