Sony has finally launched their Sony Xperia Pro-I flagship smartphone. The device comes with a huge camera sensor and revolutionary camera specifications that makes it stand out in the crowd. This flagship smartphone is aimed primarily at vloggers and professional cinematographers who are always on the move and need a powerful device to take care of all their imaging needs and more.
Sony Xperia Pro-I Specifications and Features
Starting off with the display of the smartphone, it comes with a 6.5-inch 4K OLED display. In addition, the display also comes with a fast 120Hz refresh rate. We also get to see an aspect ratio of 21:9 on the device.

Under the hood, the flagship Sony Xperia Pro-I is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. The octa-core chipset pairs up with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. Further, the internal storage on the device is expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card slot.
Moving to the USP of the device, Sony claims that the Pro-1.0 type I’s sensor delivers great low-light performance. Moreover, the smartphone also comes with a revolutionary dual aperture system. This basically allows photographers to manually alter the depth of field. The primary sensor is that of a 1-inch one which is backed by 1/2.5-inch 16mm ultra-wide sensor alongside a 1/2.9m 50mm sensor.

On the battery front, the Sony Xperia Pro-I packs a 4,500mAh battery. In addition, a 30W charging brick is included in the box itself. This particular charger can charge up the phone up to fifty percent in just thirty minutes. The smartphone sports the brand’s proprietary LDAC and DSEE audio technology and we also get to see a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Sony Xperia Pro-I Price and Availability
The Sony Xperia Pro-I price has been set at $1800. Now, this converts to roughly Rs. 1,35,000 in the Indian currency. When it comes to the availability of the device, it will go on sale in the UK early December.

In addition, Sony is also offering a Vlog monitor to buyers of the smartphone for a price. Users can then connect this monitor to their Sony Xperia Pro-I and film themselves with the primary camera. This monitor is priced at $200 which is roughly Rs. 15,000. We will also get to see the brand offering an anti-microbial leather case for the device.
