Sony Xperia Ace II has unveiled in Japan after several leaks and rumors in the past few weeks. Unlike other big display smartphones, this device is compact in design. In addition, it is a budget-friendly smartphone from Sony powering on an octa-core MediaTek SoC. The phone comes with an IPX8 water resistance rating and runs Android 11 out of the box.

In terms of pricing, Sony Xperia Ace II costs JPY 22,000 (roughly Rs. 14,800) for the sole 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model. It is offered in Black, Blue, and White colors. As of now, there is no information on the international availability of the Sony Xperia Ace 2.

It features a 5.5-inch HD+ (720×1,496 pixels) display that has a notch for the selfie camera. Under the hood, the Xperia Ace 2 powers on a MediaTek Helio P35 SoC and comes with 4GB of RAM. In addition, it comes along with 64GB onboard storage is expandable via a microSD card (up to 1TB).

Furthermore, for photos and videos, the Sony Xperia Ace II packs a dual rear camera setup that includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. At the front, there is an 8-megapixel selfie shooter. Connectivity options on the Sony Xperia Ace 2 include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, 4G, 3.5mm headphone jack, and USB Type-C port for charging. In addition, sensors onboard include an ambient light sensor, proximity sensors, and accelerometers. There is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner as well that doubles as the power button. Additionally, Sony Xperia Ace 2 packs a 4,500mAh battery and comes with an IPX8 water resistance rating. In terms of dimensions, the phone measures 140x69x8.9mm and weighs 159 grams.
