  • Sony has launched its new Bravia X90J series in India. There would be three variants in the series: 55-inch, 65-inch, and 75-inch. It’s advertised as the “world’s first cognitive intelligence TV series that thinks like a human brain,” according to the company. The Cognitive Processor XR in the Bravia X90J series TVs analyzes the viewer’s focal points and cross-analyses multiple image quality elements to generate a more natural picture.

It also improves the sound quality to 5.1.2 channels for a more realistic surround sound experience. The X90J series replaces the X90H series, which was introduced in 2020, as the top of Sony’s premium LED Triluminos TV line for 2021.

    Specifications and Features

Sony’s Triluminos technology, which is close to the quantum dot technology seen in televisions marketed as QLED TVs, features in this Ultra-HD LED TV. The TV has XR 4K Upscaling technology, which upscales 2K signals to near-true 4K quality.

The Sony Bravia XR-55X90J comes with the XR Cognitive Processor, which is advertised as the world’s first TV with cognitive intelligence. This enables the TV to identify the focal point – that is, the most essential element or zone in a given frame – and boost the picture quality precisely. According to Sony, the image quality is, therefore, more natural-looking and vivid.
