Samsung Updates Global Goals App In Business With United Nations Development Program

Samsung Global Goals App launched in 2019 has now been updated in partnership with United Nations Development Program (UNDP). It aims to take efforts on the Global Goals and make the world a better place.

The educational and donation-based Samsung Global Goals app encourages the users to contribute to causes close to their hearts with just some clicks on their Galaxy devices. The development projects cover educating young women, feeding school children, protecting children’s rights, and supporting COVID-19 struck families through UPI(Unified Payment Interface).

Statement by brand ambassador of Samsung Global Goals App

Actor Alia Bhatt also did advertisement of the app in order to contribute to various Global causes. In a statement given by Samsung’s brand ambassador and Global Goals app supporter Alia Bhatt, she said “I am proud to stand with Samsung to help people have easy access to contribute to Global Goals and to be able to bring about a change with the help of technology. This partnership with Samsung is a collective effort to help. I am very sure that mutually, we will leverage our resources and scale-up efforts to raise funds that will be donated to India relevant causes through the Samsung Global Goals app.”

 To help maximize the influence of these tiny acts, Samsung meets all proceeds through in-app advertisements. Currently, 170 million devices around the world has installed Samsung Global Goals App, making it the largest charity app in the world. And it has also helped in raising USD 1.5 million for the different Global Goals.

The Goals app helps users to create change through direct donations and earning profits through advertisements. The app in short offers a range of ways to give back to society through donations and education.
