At MWC 2021 (Mobile World Congress), Samsung unveiled the latest user interface for its next-generation Wear OS wearable, but not the Galaxy Watch 4. The latest hardware, though, will be available later this summer, according to the company.

One UI Watch Experience in Samsung MWC 2021
During a digital event on Monday, the company announced that the user interface seen on its smartphones will be added to the watch to create a more unified experience between the two devices. The South Korean firm showcased how the software will look in reality. It revealed how the settings on your smartphone match those on your watch. It claims that the experience will be smooth. As a result, when you install an app for your smartwatch, it will download and install immediately. If you block contacts on your phone, your smartwatch will automatically sync those blocked numbers.

Samsung also announced new integrations with apps including Starva, Adidas Running, and Spotify, the latter of which would allow Wear OS users to listen to music offline in MWC 2021. Google developers will be able to use the company’s watch face design tool to build unique watch faces, according to the company.
Google’s Wear OS platform has been known to be integrated with Samsung’s Tizen. The announcement was made at Google’s annual I/O conference last month. Faster speed, greater battery life, and a developer community will be the focus of the new platform. It will also support apps that are up to 30% faster.

Unfortunately, Samsung hasn’t revealed much about the Galaxy Watch 4’s hardware. The possible Apple Watch competition from Samsung is already receiving a lot of rumors and leaks. Samsung regularly introduces new smartwatches in late July or early August at its Unpacked event. The Galaxy Fold 3 and Galaxy Flip 2 could unveil alongside the Galaxy Watch 4 this year. Samsung’s next-generation smartwatch will reportedly include a circular edge-to-edge display and a 5nm Chipset.
