Samsung Exynos W920 SoC
Samsung’s Exynos W920 is a dual-core processor featuring two Arm Cortex-A55 cores and an Arm Mali-G68 GPU. It also includes a dedicated low-power display processor, the Cortex-M55. This enables Always-on Display (AoD) with lower power consumption than the prior Exynos SoC. In terms of CPU performance, the Exynos W920 claims to enhance by roughly 20% and give ten times the higher graphics performance. The 5nm chipset will also offer “faster application launches and more interactive eye-catching 3D graphical user interface (GUI)”. Samsung’s Exynos W920 can display 960×540 pixels at its highest resolution. Fan-Out Panel Level Packaging (FO-PLP) is also available on the chipset.
