Samsung announced the release of its new Galaxy Tab A8, adding to the company’s Galaxy A-Series. It claims to have an impressive screen, power and performance in a slim and lightweight design. Moreover, it’s a captivating portable experience that matches users’ everyday lifestyles and budgets. It also seamlessly syncs with other Galaxy devices. The tablet comes in three storage options, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 Price, Availability
It will be available in Gray, Silver and new Pink Gold in Europe beginning late December. Whereas, it will be available in other regions including the U.S. in January 2022. Samsung is yet to announce the pricing of the Tab A8.
Although SamMobile reports the tablet will be available in Europe later this month, with the Wi-Fi model will retail starting at EUR 229 (roughly Rs. 19,700) for the 3GB + 32GB variant. Whereas, it retails for EUR 259 (roughly Rs. 22,300) for the 4GB + 64GB variant, and EUR 309 (roughly Rs. 26,600) for the 4GB + 128GB variant.

As for the LTE Galaxy Tab A8 version, it’s might retail at EUR 279 (roughly Rs. 24,000), EUR 309 (roughly Rs. 26,600), and EUR 359 (roughly Rs. 30,900) for the same memory and storage configurations, respectively.

It sports a 10.5-inch (1,920×1,200 pixels) TFT display, with an 80 per cent screen-to-body ratio. The company has also optimised the tablet for multitasking with its One UI interface. It allows the usage of apps in split-screen mode with the Drag and Split feature. As previously mentioned, the tablet features a quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos support.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 packs an 8-megapixel rear camera, and the tablet features a 5-megapixel front camera for taking video calls, selfies and for unlocking the tablet via facial recognition. As mentioned above comes in 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB storage variants. Moreover, users can expand the internal storage via microSD (up to 1TB).

Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 comes with a 7,040mAh battery that charges at 15W over USB Type-C. It supports LTE connectivity, along with dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 support. According to the company, the Tab A8 has a 3.5mm audio jack. The tablet runs on Android 11, with the company’s One UI 3 skin on top. According to Samsung, customers who purchase the tablet will be eligible to access Samsung TV Plus on the tablet. New owners will also receive access to two months of YouTube Premium for free.
