Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 Launch: Reportedly, Samsung is preparing for the launch of its next generation of foldable smartphones. They are the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5, which will be unveil at the upcoming Unpacked event in South Korea. While the company has not officially disclosed any information about these upcoming devices, there have been recent developments. The Geekbench website has listed the global variant of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5, providing some insights into its key specifications. Notably, the report suggests that the device will come with Android 13 pre-installed, deviating from the expected Android 14. If released, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 will follow in the footsteps of its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4.
The benchmarking website SamMobile discovers a Geekbench list featuring the global variant of the highly anticipated Galaxy Z Fold 5. Additionally, the list showcases the smartphone’s model number as Samsung SM-F946B. It also discloses its performance scores in both single-core and multi-core tests. The device achieved a score of 1,845 in the single-core test and 5,083 in the multi-core test.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5: Additional Details As Per Reports
SamMobile’s report further includes information that Samsung plans to provide four significant Android OS upgrades. Along with that it also provides five years of security updates for the forthcoming foldable smartphones. The Geekbench listing also indicates that the single-core performance score of the global variant of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 is inferior to that of the US variant.
According to recent online leaks, the price of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 has surfaced. The price of the upcoming device will be EUR 1,299 (approximately Rs. 1,16,294) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. In comparison, last year’s Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 was launched in Europe at a price of EUR 1,099 (approximately Rs. 98,200) for the same configuration. Conversely, it is speculated that the Galaxy Z Flip 5 will maintain the same price as its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Flip 4, in the United States, which is $999 (roughly Rs. 79,000).
