The specs for the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic have surfaced in a fresh leak. The South Korean tech giant’s rumoured smartwatches are expected to come in two sizes: 40/ 44mm and 42/ 46mm. The smartwatches will allegedly be made of a variety of materials, including aluminium and stainless steel. Samsung is likely to unveil the Galaxy Watch 4 series, which will include two models: the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, during its Galaxy ‘Unpacked’ event later this month, as well as two foldable smartphones: the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 4, Galaxy Watch 4 Classic Leaked Specifications
According to the rumours, Samsung will offer a 1.36-inch AMOLED (450×450 pixels) display with Corning Gorilla Glass DX and a rotating bezel for the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic. This variant is expected to be available in 42/ 46mm dial sizes, while the standard Galaxy Watch 4 will be available in 40/ 44mm dial sizes and will include a 1.19-inch AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass DX. The Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic will have a 361mAh battery which will last up to 7 days. The vanilla Galaxy Watch 4 will, on the other hand, have a 247mAh battery.

Internally, the smartwatch will have an Exynos W920 wearable processor, 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic are waterproof up to 5ATM (50 metres) and feature IP68 dust and water resistance certification. It also comes with MID SID 810G military grade certification. According to reports, the Samsung smartwatches will include Bluetooth v5.0, WLAN, NFC, and optional 4G LTE connectivity. The sensors on the list also include GPS and GLONASS. Both smartwatches will run the updated Wear OS-based One UI interface, which is One UI Watch 3.5.

The Samsung smartwatch variants are likely to feature a variety of health sensors for monitoring various things. These include monitoring heart rate, blood oxygen (SpO2), sleep tracking, fall detection, forecasts, and menstrual cycle tracking, among other things. Both are likely to include an electrocardiogram (EKG) sensor. According to the report, the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic will have 40 sports modes; the majority of which will automatically identify once the action begins.
