Samsung Galaxy S24 Series Launched In India: Price, Specs

Samsung has finally launched its new flagship S24 series in India with AI features and top-of-the-line specifications. The Galaxy S24 series includes the Samsung Galaxy S24, Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus and the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra

All three phones will be available for pre-order starting soon and will go on sale in the country. Here is everything you need to know about the Galaxy S24 series, including its price and specifications in India.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Series Price In India

The Samsung Galaxy S24 starts in India at a price of Rs.79,999 for the base variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. Furthermore, the 8GB RAM and 512GB model cost Rs.89,999.

Similarly, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus will retail for Rs.99,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB model. Moreover, the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage variant will cost Rs.1,09,999.

Last but not least is the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, which starts at Rs.1,29,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB variant. In addition, the 12GB+512GB and 12GB+1TB variants of the phone cost Rs.1,39,999 and Rs.1,59,999, respectively.

S24 Series Offers And Availability

Starting today, the Samsung Galaxy S24 series will be available for pre-booking in all online and retail stores. Furthermore, customers pre-booking the S24 Plus and S24 Ultra will receive benefits worth Rs.22,000, while S24 users will get benefits worth Rs.15,000.

These include a Rs.15,000 upgrade bonus on the S24 or a Rs.5,000 bank cashback and Rs.8,000 upgrade. Similarly, users can get a Rs.12,000 upgrade bonus on the S24 Plus and S24 Ultra with a free upgrade to 512GB for those buying 256GB.

Additionally, users can get Rs.5,000 bank cashback and an Rs.5,000 upgrade bonus on the phone. The company will also offer 11 months of Samsung Finance+ with No-cost EMI on all three phones.

The S24 Ultra will be available in three colours on the Samsung website: Titanium Blue, Green and Titanium Orange. Similarly, the S24 and S24 Plus will get exclusive colours on the Samsung website: Sapphire blue and Jade Green.

Those who pre-book the phone during the Samsung Live event at 12 PM on January 18 will receive a Wireless Charger Duo worth Rs.4,999 for free. All three phones will also be available to purchase from January 31 on Amazon, Flipkart and other online stores.

Samsung Galaxy S24 And S24 Plus Specifications

The Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus feature a 6.2-inch and 6.7-inch Dynamic 2x AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The S24 uses a Full-HD+ display and Quad HD+ screen.

Both screens have Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and a peak brightness of 2600 nits. The Exynos 2400 chipset will power the S24 and S24 Plus paired with up to 8GB and 12GB of RAM, respectively.

The S24 and S24 Plus run on OneUI 6.1 with Android 14 out of the box and have up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. Samsung promises seven years of OS and security updates similar to the Google Pixel 8 series.

For optics, both phones boast a 50-megapixel primary, 12-megapixel ultrawide and a 10-megapixel telephoto with 3x optical zoom. On the front, there is a 12-megapixel camera for taking selfies.

The S24 and S24 Plus pack a 4,000mAh and 4,900mAh battery with support for 25W and 45W wired charging respectively. They also offer support for 15W wireless and 4.5W reverse wireless charging.

In addition, both phones have an IP68 rating and Armor Aluminum 2 Frame for tougher drop and scratch resistance. The S24 will be available in Amber Yellow, Cobalt Violet, and Onyx Black, while the S24 Plus will go on sale in Cobalt Violet and Onyx Black.

S24 Ultra Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra sports a 6.7-inch Quad HD+ 2x Dynamic AMOLED 2x screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and LTPO support. In addition, the phone has a peak brightness of 2600 nits and a new Corning Gorilla Armor Glass for protection.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset powers the phone paired with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM. It runs on OneUI 6.1 with Android 14 out of the box with up to 1TB of internal storage. Samsung promises seven years of OS and security patches for the device.
