However, to utter dismay, the event didn’t shed light on the much-awaited Samsung Galaxy S22 series. The recent leak tipped the specifications of this much-anticipated series – Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and Galaxy S22 Plus. The S21 series launched in January 2021. Now, the certification site also shows Galaxy S22+ will house a 4,370mAh battery. Whereas, the S21+ features 4,800mAh. In addition, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra can feature a 4,855mAh battery in contrast to the S21 Ultra‘s 5,000mAh battery capacity. On the other hand, Samsung is working on a 65W charging solution for its Galaxy S22 series. With the battery capacity reduced on smartphones, this will be the shining light for the series.

It is also speculated that Samsung may not bundle the 65W fast charger in the box and customers might have to purchase it separately. The model numbers for the next Samsung flagship series have also surfaced online. As per a report by SamMobile, the vanilla Galaxy S22 will get SM-S901x, Galaxy S22+ will have the model number SM-S906x, and the Galaxy S22 Ultra will have SM-S908x.
