It looks like Samsung Galaxy A52 is shipping with a slower 15W charger despite supporting 25W charging. This has caused some controversy online. The three new smartphones in the Galaxy A series — all come with 25W fast charging support. However, the company is shipping a 15W charger with the A52 and its 5G variant. Although, this isn’t the case with the top end A-series phone, the Samsung Galaxy A72. It ships with a 25W charger.

The Samsung Galaxy A52, GalaxyA52 5G, and Galaxy A72 are all compatible with Quick Charge 2.0 and Samsung’s Adaptive Fast Charging (AFC) technologies. Interestingly, all its official sites and even the Australian site indicate the 4G version also ships with a 15W charger. However, the company is not giving any clarifications as of yet. We can only guess it attributes to the cost as it ships with the expensive A72.
Samsung Galaxy A52 5G Specifications (Rumored)
It is reported to sport a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is said to sports a quad-camera setup consisting of a 64-MP primary camera, an 8-MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 5-MP macro camera, and a 2-MP depth sensor. At the front, it has a 32-MP selfie shooter.

Samsung Galaxy A52 is rumored to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G. The 5G variant of the Galaxy A52 is rumored to get 128GB of storage. It is reported to house a 4,500mAh battery and is capable of 25W fast charging. A 4G variant of the Galaxy A52 is rumored to launch on the same day as well and is tipped to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC instead.
