Samsung has launched two new mid-range smartphones in India: the Samsung Galaxy A35 5G and Samsung Galaxy A55 5G. These phones are the successors of last year’s Samsung Galaxy A34 5G and Samsung Galaxy A54 5G. Both phones offer an IP67 rating, large batteries, and four years of OS updates. Samsung Galaxy A35 And Galaxy A55 Price In India

The Samsung Galaxy A35 starts at Rs.30,999 for the 8GB+128GB storage variant in India, while the 8GB+256GB model retails for Rs.33,999

Similarly, the Samsung Galaxy A55 begins in India at Rs.39,999 for the 8GB+128GB variant. The 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB models cost Rs.42,999 and Rs.45,999 respectively.

The Samsung Galaxy A35 and A55 are available in Awesome Ice Blue, Awesome Navy, Awesome Lilac, and Awesome Lemon colour options. Both phones will be available for purchase on the Samsung India website.

A35 And A55 Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy A35 and A55 sport a 6.6-inch Full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Moreover, they have 1,000 nits of peak brightness and Gorilla Glass Victus+ for protection. The Samsung Galaxy A55 has a glass back with a metal frame, while the A35 also has a glass back with a plastic frame.

The Samsung Galaxy A35 uses the Exynos 1380 processor, while the A55 relies on the Exynos 1480 chipset paired with 8GB and 12GB of RAM, respectively. Both phones will ship with One UI 6.1 based on Android 14 and offer up to 256GB storage, expandable via microSD card.

Samsung promises four years of OS updates and five years of security patches for the Galaxy A35 and A55. Both phones will also come with Knox Vault security and App Blocker, which block app installation from unauthorized sources.

For optics, the Galaxy A35 features a 50-megapixel primary with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultrawide and a 5-megapixel macro sensor. On the front, there is a 13-megapixel selfie shooter.

Similarly, the Galaxy A55 will pack a 50-megapixel primary with OIS, a 12-megapixel ultrawide and a 5-megapixel macro lens. In addition, you get a 32-megapixel selfie camera.
