Samsung seems to be planning to launch the Samsung Galaxy A12s as an Exynos version of the vanilla Galaxy A12. The Galaxy A12 was launched in India back in February of this year. Moreover, a Samsung smartphone has recently made an appearance on the Bluetooth SIG certification website with the model number of SM-A127F / SM-A127M.
Additionally, this smartphone also made an appearance on the Samsung Philippines support site. According to a recent leak, this particular smartphone will be launched as a new chipset version of the Galaxy A12. The Galaxy A12 carries the MediaTek Helio P35 SoC while the new variant will come with Exynos 850. Now, the smartphone has appeared on the Google Play Console listing. This has revealed the name of the device to be the Samsung Galaxy A12s.
Noted tipster Mukul Sharma took to Twitter to reveal that the Samsung smartphone has appeared on the Google Play Console listing. Besides, the Galaxy A12s carries the model number of SM-A125F.

As per the Google Play Console listing, the Samsung Galaxy A12s will come with an HD+ resolution. Additionally, we will see 3GB of RAM alongside the Android 11 OS on the device. The listing also goes on to mention the availability of a fingerprint scanner. One can only expect to see a side-mounted fingerprint scanner as it is the new trendy thing.
Samsung Galaxy A12s Specifications (Expected)
Going by the fact that the Galaxy A12s will launch as an Exynos variant of the Galaxy A12, we can assume a couple of things on the specifications front. For starters, the Samsung Galaxy A12s will come with a 6.5-inches HD+ IPS panel. Additionally, the Google Play Console listing reveals that the display will come with a resolution of 720 x 1339 pixels.
On the processor front, the Samsung Galaxy A12s will be powered by the Exynos 850 SoC. The octa-core chipset will pair up with 3 GB of RAM. Moreover, we will most likely see 32 GB of internal storage. Other variants of the device may show up as well at the time of launch.

For photos and videos, the A12s may come with a quad rear camera setup The setup will include a 48-megapixel primary sensor alongside a 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor. Additionally, we will probably see two 2-megapixel sensors for macro and depth shots, respectively. On the front, the smartphone will most likely feature an 8-megapixel selfie shooter. The Galaxy A12 comes in the Black, White and Blue color options. We can expect to see the A12s come with similar color options as well.
