Reliance Jio is among the telecom operators that have offered a number of prepaid plans along with the free Disney+ Hotstar for users. Now, Jio has silently discontinued a majority of its Disney+ Hotstar plans in India. The Disney+Hotstar plans offered the customers to watch the IPL season and other content. Jio has cancelled a total of 12 prepaid mobile plans.

Other Jio Prepaid Plans
Jio offered a total of 12 prepaid plans, which started from an Rs. 151 add-on recharge plan to Rs. 3,119. It used to offer up to 1 year of free Disney+ Hotstar mobile subscription with a Jio prepaid recharge plan.
This depends on the plan users choose. Now 12 Jio mobile plans have been cancelled silently. Even now it is offering a free 1-Year Disney+ Hotstar Premium subscription. That too in only two plans. Both plans are expensive.

12 Jio Mobile Plans Cancelled
The Rs. 333, the Rs. 499, the Rs. 583, the Rs. 601, the Rs. 783, the Rs. 799, the Rs. 1,066, the Rs. 2,999, and the Rs. 3,119 plans are no longer on Jio’s website. The data add-on plans of Jio, ranging from Rs. 151, Rs. 555, and Rs. 659, are also cancelled.
Comeback Of Jio Plans
As the IPL season is approaching. There has been no confirmation regarding the same by Reliance Jio. Now there are only two mobile plans which offer Hotstar.
The first one is a Rs 1,499 plan, valid for 84 days. It offers 2GB of data per day, unlimited calls, and 100 SMS/day with access to apps like Disney+ Hotstar, JioTV, JioCinema, JioSecurity, and JioCloud.
The second plan costs Rs 4,199 per year. It offers 3GB of data per day with all the other benefits of the Rs 1,499 pack, including Disney+ Hotstar premium. It is valid for 365 days.

Even a similar incident happened in December 2021. After which Jio came up with new plans. It comes with expectations that it may return with a revised edition this time again.
