According to the schedule, the much-awaited Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 series will release in China and throughout the world this year. As, Lu Weibing, the President of Xiaomi’s China group and Redmi’s General Manager, previously stated that the Redmi Note series will refresh every six months. Therefore, Xiaomi released the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 series last year, and it’s time for the company to launch the Note 12 series.
Officials from Xiaomi confirmed that the Note series will have two versions, one for performance and one for the experience. According to recent developments, the upcoming Note 12 series has received certifications and will be releasing shortly.

According to a previous report from Digital Chat Station, the Note 12 series, codenamed L16, is already under development. The series also includes a device with the code L16U, which might be the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G.
Specifications of Redmi Note 12 Series
Two new Xiaomi models, the 22041216UC and 22041216C, are just given network access licenses. These model numbers, according to Digital Chat Station, are part of the Note 12 series.
A high-performance MediaTek CPU rather than the Dimensity 8100 will power the Note 12 series. It’s probable that this series will feature MediaTek Dimensity 1300 or MediaTek Dimensity 8000 CPUs.
The Dimensity 1300 SoC is the successor of the Dimensity 1200. It has an eight-core CPU with a 3GHz Cortex-A78 super-large core, three Cortex A-78 huge cores, and four Cortex A-55 efficiency cores, all built on TSMC’s 6nm technology.

Four large Cortex-A78 CPU cores and four smaller A55 CPU cores make up the MediaTek Dimensity 8000 and 8100 processors. A Mali-G610 MC6 GPU is also there in both chipsets. In GFXBench Manhattan testing, the Dimensity 8100 delivers 170 frames per second, while the Dimensity 8000 obtains 140 frames per second, according to MediaTek.
The Redmi Note 12 series is likely to have a distinct industrial design that distinguishes it from other smartphones. According to DCS, the Note 12 series has a distinct industrial appearance, great performance, and long battery life. The Note 12 series is likely to release in May 2022.
