Under the hood, the smartphones are expected to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8000 and 9000 SoCs. In addition, there is also going to be a device that is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. All-in-all, we are looking at a flagship series for sure.
Another report suggests that all four of the Redmi K50 series models could come pre-installed with MIUI 13. So, we are looking at Android 12 as well, if that is to be believed. It only makes sense. With Android 12 OS being out for quite some time now, it is only understandable that the latest handsets run on it.
Some detail about the Redmi K50 series camera setups have been revealed too. The vanilla Redmi K50 is expected to sport a 48-megapixel primary rear camera sensor. On the other hand, the K50 Pro will reportedly offer a 50-megapixel primary rear camera sensor. Finally, the most flagship model, the K50 Pro+ is expected to flaunt a 108-megapixel primary sensor in its rear camera setup.
The K50 Pro+ from the Redmi K50 series is also expected to pack a 120W fast charging support. Meanwhile, the other models from the series will reportedly offer 100W fast charging support. For now, this is all that is known about the handsets. Hopefully, more details will surface online ahead of their official launch next month.
