Redmi A2, Redmi A2 Plus Spotted on BIS Website; Expected to Launch Soon in India. Last year, Xiaomi launched two new entry-level smartphones in India. The Xiaomi Redmi A1, the company’s cheapest smartphone in India, was initially launched. This was succeeded by the Xiaomi Redmi A1 Plus, which had a fingerprint scanner and was significantly more expensive than the standard model. The new Redmi A-series smartphones are among the few entry points for individuals looking to upgrade from a feature phone or get a taste of the smartphone experience. It has been a few months since the release, and Xiaomi may already be working on the Redmi A1 series’ successor. Moreover, the Redmi A2 series has been seen on the website of the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).
The listing on BIS indicates that the launch of the A2 series will take place soon. Let’s take a look at what is known about the Redmi A2 series ahead of the launch.

BIS Listing Of Redmi A2 Series
The Redmi A2 series will be the company’s upcoming low-cost smartphones. The gadgets are likely to be available in India and other regions very shortly. Mukul Sharma, alias Stufflistings, noticed two Redmi A-series phones on the BIS website. The model numbers of one of the two phones are 23028RNCAH and 23028RNCAI. The model numbers for the other devices are 23028RN4DH and 23028RN4DI.
The smartphones will be available in India and other regions within a month. At the time of writing, Xiaomi has not verified any specifics about the upcoming Redmi A-series phones’ introduction.
Both phones include 32GB of internal storage and the option to increase storage through a microSD card up to 512GB. Furthermore, they have a 5,000mAh battery and allow 10W charging. Under the hood is a MediaTek Helio A22 SoC. On the rear, there is also a dual-camera arrangement. The primary camera is 8-megapixel, while the depth sensor is 2-megapixel.
