The Xiaomi Redmi 9C is getting a new 4GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage variant. Moreover, the brand new variant has been launched in Malaysia. The smartphone previously had the 2GB RAM/32GB internal storage and 3GB RAM/64GB internal storage variant in Malaysia.
Meanwhile, in India, the Redmi 9 series currently has four smartphones under it. These smartphones are namely the vanilla Redmi 9, Redmi 9i, Redmi 9 Prime and Redmi 9 Power. The 9C is also expected to make its way to the Indian market soon. Upon launch, the smartphone will add these existing smartphones in the series in India.
Redmi 9C Price And Availability
The Redmi 9C price in Malaysia for the 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage variant is set at RM499. Moreover, this converts to roughly Rs. 8,780 in the Indian currency. Moreover, the new variant will go on sale in the Malaysian market from August 3.

Furthermore, the smartphone comes in the Blue and Orange colour options in the country. The Redmi 9C price in India and availability is currently under wraps. However, the smartphone is expected to launch in the country soon.
Redmi 9C Specifications
The Redmi 9C comes with a big 6.53-inch HD+ IPS display. Additionally, the display comes with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels. Moreover, we can also see an aspect ratio of 20:9 on the smartphone.

On the processor front, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G35 SoC. Additionally, the 2.3GHz octa-core chipset pairs up with the IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. Furthermore, the SoC and GPU are coupled with up to 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage now. The internal storage on the device is also expandable up to 512GB via a microSD card slot.
For photos and videos, the Redmi 9C comes with a triple rear camera setup. The setup features a 13-megapixel primary sensor alongside a 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor. At the front, the handset comes with a 5-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls. Moreover, an LED flash also accompanies the camera setup on the device.

The Redmi 9C packs a massive 5000mAh battery alongside a fingerprint sensor. Moreover, we can also see an IR blaster alongside a USB Type-C port for charging. On the software front, the smartphone runs on Android 10 with the MIUI 12 custom skin on top. The device also packs all the essential connectivity options like Dual 4G VoLTE, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth v5.0, GLONASS and more.
