Realme on Thursday announced that it would launch a new variant of Realme GT– Realme GT Neo on March 31. It will first launch in China. However, there is no word on the availability of the phone in other markets such as India. Although the executive has teased the chipset inside the upcoming phone. Additionally, the new phone is likely an offshoot of the Realme GT 5G launched earlier this month.

Furthermore, he confirmed the launch date of Realme GT Neo on March 31. He also confirms the phone will power on the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. The poster doesn’t reveal the design or any other details of the upcoming smartphone. It confirms that the launch event will begin at 2.30 pm CST (12 pm noon IST).
On the other hand, a phone with model number RMX3116 surfaced on China’s TENAA certification website. The listing revealed the phone comes with a 6.5-inch display. The phone can also come with a 4,400mAh battery and Android 11 out-of-the-box. It can likely be the Realme GT Neo.

Realme GT Neo should have slightly different specifications than the Realme GT 5G. The latter powers on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. The phone packs a 4,500mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging. It is said to offer a 360Hz touch sampling rate.
In the camera department, Realme GT has a triple-sensor setup on the back. It consists of a 64-megapixel primary sensor, 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. On the front, it has a 16-megapixel selfie camera.

Other features of the Realme GT are Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, and USB Type-C port. It also comes with a 4,500mAh battery. There is also an under-display fingerprint reader.
