The Realme GT Neo 2 is the latest project that the company is seemingly working on at the moment. The smartphone will launch as a successor to the Realme GT Neo which was launched in China earlier this year. Now, the successor has surfaced online in exclusive high-resolution renders that reveal the design of the upcoming smartphone.
Digit, in collaboration with popular tipster Steve H.McFly, aka OnLeaks, has leaked the high resolution design renders of the device ahead of its official launch. Additionally, the GT Neo 2 has also bagged multiple certifications ahead of its launch. This includes the Indian BIS certification as well, which definitely hints at an imminent India launch of the Realme GT series device. The device has been spotted on the TENAA certification website as well which reveals its key specs.

To recall, the Realme GT Neo was not launched in India and only went official in China. However, from the looks of it, the successor of the GT Neo will make its way to the Indian market. Currently, the Realme GT series of devices in India has the Realme GT 5G and Realme GT Master Edition 5G under it.
Realme GT Neo 2 Design Renders
Going by the design renders leaked by Digit and OnLeaks, the Realme GT Neo 2 has a premium look to it. The handset sports curved rear edges and features a vertical camera housing. The smartphone appears to be quite slim as well, which hints at it being lightweight.
In addition, the vertical camera module reveals a triple rear camera setup. We can also see that the setup is accompanied by a dual-LED flash. Further, the front design of the smartphone reveals minimalistic bezels alongside a punch-hole display design which will house the selfie shooter.

At the bottom, the smartphone houses a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer alongside a SIM tray slot and speaker grille as well. The right side of the handset houses the power button which will most likely double down as a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Meanwhile, the left side is home to the volume control buttons for the device.
Realme GT Neo 2: What To Expect?
Now, going by the TENAA certification listing of the device, we can make assumptions about what to expect from the upcoming Realme GT series device. For starters, the handset will sport a 6.62-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display. Under the hood, the prototype unit reveals the presence of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. As per the TENAA listing, the device will be available in the Mirror Black, Dream Blue and Super Orange colour options.
On the software front, the device will run on Android 11 OS with the Realme UI 2.0 custom skin on top. Further, the handset is expected to come with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. Moving to optics, the device will most like come with a 64-megapixel primary sensor. The primary sensor will be accompanied by an 8-megapixel secondary ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 2-megapixel macro sensor.

Coming to the battery, the TENAA listing reveals a a 2465mAh (dual cell) battery. Now, this totals to 4,930mAh battery capacity, which in reality, is most likely a 5000mAh battery. Lastly, the device measures 162.9mm×75.8mm×8.6mm and measure 199.8 grams.
