Earlier last month, Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth took to Twitter to confirm the launch of the Realme GT Neo 2. The smartphone has been a rumour mill favourite for the past couple of weeks. Numerous leaks and reports have also revealed a bunch of things about the upcoming GT series smartphone. To recall, it also launched in China a few days ago. This gives us quite a detailed idea of the device’s specs and pricing. However, after a long time of just hinting, the company has officially teased the smartphone on their website.
Realme is teasing the launch with ‘#EverythingNeo’. The landing page shows that the Realme GT Neo 2 powers on a Snapdragon SoC. This chipset is famous as “Best 5G Processor in the Segment”. The teaser page on Realme’s website does not reveal the launch date right now.

Realme GT Neo 2 India launch imminent
According to the microsite, the Neo 2 will get some of these key features. Realme has already launched the device in China. The phone is expected to launch with the same specs in India. Realme India’s microsite of the Neo 2 confirms that the phone will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC, under the hood. The phone will also sport a 120Hz E4 AMOLED display. All of these specifications have already surfaced online and now stands confirmed. Realme has also teased the 600Hz touch sampling rate of the display, which is the highest in its segment. The microsite does not tease any other specs.

Realme GT Neo 2 comes with a 6.62-inch AMOLED screen that has a 1300 nits peak brightness. In addition, it has a hole-punch cutout on the top-left corner of the screen for the 16-megapixel front camera. Moreover, we already know that the phone will sport a 64MP triple-camera setup. It will have an 8MP ultrawide sensor and a 2MP sensor. The phone packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 65W fast charging support as well. It runs Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0 out of the box.
